COVID-19 Cancellations and Closers from the Players Centre for Performing Arts

By  |

In accordance with the CDC’s recommendations for large events and mass gatherings, The Players Centre for Performing Arts is cancelling the following events through April 18: Anything Goes (March. 25-April 12, 2020) Pioneers of Rock n Soul with Billy Buchanan (March 27, 2020) Could It Be Magic with Brian Gurl (April 3, 2020) Walk Through Wednesday (April 8, 2020) Summer Sizzler Auditions (April 11, 2020) Players Follies: Jukebox Reunion (April 17, 2020) That’s Entertainment: The Players 90th Birthday Celebration (April 18, 2020) At this time, we hope to move most of these events to a later date. Stay tuned for more updates in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience or stress this may cause and we hope to see you at the theatre at a later date. If you have tickets to these events the box office will be calling those individuals as fast as we can. We would love to turn your tickets into vouchers (called flex passes) to be used later to any of our future shows. If this will not work (you are only in town seasonally or had to cancel your vacation) we hope that you will consider donating those tickets back to the theatre. The Players is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we hope to continue giving this community the opportunity to entertain, educate and engage with the arts in the future and hope you’ll help us continue with that mission. Refunds can be given as we want everyone to be as comfortable during this time as possible, but we do hope you consider investing in the longevity of the arts. The safety and health of our patrons is our top priority and hope the community bands together during this time.
