Cookbook Signing Will Feature Local and National Chefs

EHS Recruiting Company, a leading provider of staffing solutions for the hospitality industry, has released a cookbook, “Cooking With Friends: An EHS Culinary Adventure!” 

The cookbook features recipes from James Beard Award-winning chefs Rick Tramonto and Nicola Zanghi and local chefs Greg Campell, Steven Phelps, and Jeremy Thayer. TV culinary stars – Gale Gand, “MasterChef”’s Graham Elliott, and “Top Chef”’s Ron Duprat. Food Network’s “Vegas Chef Prizefight” winner, Chef Lamar Moore, contributed several signature dishes to the book. 

A cookbook signing is scheduled for Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Daiquiri Deck’s St. Armand’s Circle at 325 John Ringling Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34236, at 1:00 PM. 

The following chefs will be signing books:

Local Chefs:

  • Greg Campbell – Pier 22 and Grove 
  • Stephen Phelps – Indigenous
  • Jamil Pineda – Michael’s on East
  • Jeremy Thayer – Daiquiri Deck

National Chefs:

  • Chrissy Benoit – Culinary Consultant
  • Ron Duprat – BRAVO TV’s “Top Chef, Food Network’s “Iron Chef America,” “Bar Rescue” and “Beat Bobby Flay”
  • Jessica “Spear” Larusso – Aramark
  • Phillip Valdez – Executive Chef, Universal Studios Hollywood, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, 3 Broomsticks

Each recipe in the book is accompanied by a story about the chef’s career and personal journey, offering readers a unique and personal look at the culinary industry. The book includes a range of dishes, from classic comfort food to contemporary cuisine, and showcases the diverse flavors and cultures that make up the American culinary landscape.

Books will be available on-site for $40 or pre-order on Amazon.  All proceeds of the cookbook support EHS Relief, a 501c3 not-for-profit providing financial assistance to chefs and those in the culinary arts.
