World of Chucko, Inc. can now continue their Quality of Life enhancing programing thanks to a $2,500 grant from the Chester Family Fund of Manatee Community Foundation!

Chuck Sidlow Internationally known as “Chucko the All American Clown”, and his wife Noriko, classically trained pianist and professional event producer, co creators of the WORLD OF CHUCKO a 501 C3 organization serving the Sun Coast Senior Care and the Special Ability communities, as well as family members, caregivers, and the general public for the past two decades have been awarded a special grant to help restart their unique Quality of Life enhancing programing!

By creating their own style of original Relationship building, and self empowering presentations using History, Mystery, Music, Magic, Mirth, and Memories, the World of Chucko offers an entertaining adjunct to daily activities for individuals throughout the Suncoast.

“We created the World of Chucko, as a non-profit organization to serve the Senior Care and Special ability’s communities, but last year were halted in providing our LIVE “one to one” life changing services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

During the pandemic, we had to reinvent ourselves,” said Chuck, who explains that he and Noriko and a cast of fellow humorists have been producing monthly themed television specials, distributed for free on the World of Chucko Facebook and YouTube channels.

“We can’t wait to return to our live, in-person appearances, that is where our programs are most impactful.” Echoing those words is Deborah Morrill, Adult Day Service Manager at the Senior Friendship Center.

“World of Chucko entertains, yes…but they also engage, validate, and connect our clients through their unique ability to observe, include, and use comedy, magic, music, and ‘characters’ to build ongoing relationships and new memories.”

The NEW Grant has been provided by the Chester Family of the Manatee Community Foundation .

“We are honored to receive this grant as summer begins and facilities are starting to reopen their doors!”

“CHUCKO the All-American Clown”, who was inducted into the Ring of Fame on St. Armands Circle in 2018, is featured in an interactive exhibit in the Tibbals Learning Center area of the Ringling’s Circus Museum in Sarasota..and will  also will be featured in a new museum being created by the Venice Historic Society to honor the years when The Greatest Show on Earth wintered there (1960-1992) and where its famous Clown College was created.
