The Headless Horseman Rides Again

By  |

October 18, 2021 – Sarasota

The Players Centre for Performing Arts is happy to again produce the popular, autumn tale based on Washington Irving’s story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This year is extra spooky as the Headless Horseman will ride at both The Sarasota Polo Club, and Selby Botanical Garden’s Historic Spanish Point.

Synopsis
Ichabod Crane arrives in the town of Sleepy Hollow to take up the position of school master. He soon falls for Katrina Van Tassel the daughter of a wealthy farmer who is being courted by the town “bad boy” Brom Bones. Sleepy Hollow is known for its many ghost stories and the towns people that love to tell them, but the most prominent specter haunting the region is The Headless Horseman. Will Ichabod win Katrina’s heart? Will he keep his head? You’ll have to visit Sleepy Hollow to find out.
