St. Armands Circle, in collaboration with the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota, announced on Tuesday, a lineup of nationally acclaimed acts scheduled to perform at the inaugural Sarasota Arts LIVE event on Sept. 18. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The arts-focused event will pair an extraordinary ensemble of performances with immersive artist pop-ups spread throughout the district’s lush central Circle Park, allowing attendees to jaunt from booth to booth while connecting with local artists, taking in live painting sessions and interactive exhibits.

“St. Armands Circle has remained a standout destination for unrivaled summer fun, food, music and shopping. Our Sol of the Circle event series was instrumental in this year’s efforts, and we expect things to only get better with the kick-off of Sarasota Arts LIVE on Sept. 18,” said Geoffrey Michel, Chairman of the St. Armands Business Improvement District (BID). “We hope the community will join us for this first-of-its-kind special event.”

Sarasota Arts LIVE will serve as a crescendo for St. Armands Circle’s Sol of the Circle series, a four-month calendar of recurring and unique events hosted around the renowned shopping district. The summer-long celebration was an effort by the St. Armands Circle Association and St. Armands BID to invite locals and tourists alike to indulge and make unforgettable memories on the Circle.

“Bringing the arts to historic St. Armands Circle was an easy decision,” said Jim Shirley, Executive Director of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota. “Together, we have been able to create a new featured event to spotlight the very best of Sarasota’s vibrant arts community. We’re excited to share this with attendees and hope the event will become an institution for years to come.”
