JUNE/JULY FILM CAMP PROGRAM

The Sarasota Film Festival, which for 20 years has taken thousands of local audience members on cinematic journeys, is now offering summer film camps. Industry professionals with  years of experience working on Hollywood films and  international commercials will teach the kids aged 7-17 the ins and outs of creating amazing videos and films.

Young filmmakers will learn in a fun, conservatory model where each student will get to experience different film-related professions during the week, being a writer, production designer, editor, cinematographer, director, producer, and actor. The students will also truly understand the value of teamwork and collaboration.

Every week of the camp will feature a different theme, which will be used to inspire the created short films and videos. The finished projects will have a public screening for family and friends at the end of each week.
