Sarasota Attorney Amanda Kison Named Chairman of the Board of the American Red Cross of Southwest Florida

Amanda R. Kison, an attorney with the firm of Bentley Law, has been named Chairman of the Board of the American Red Cross of Southwest Florida serving Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, and Sarasota counties.

“Not only am I honored to be to be part of such a meaningful organization that provides relief to so many people who are affected by disaster, but I am humbled to be named as chairman of the board,” said Ms. Kison.  “I am eager to serve and look forward to a productive tenure with this chapter of the American Red Cross.”

Kison has been a member of the board of directors for over a year and will serve a two-year term as chairman.

“We are pleased to appoint Amanda as our board chair.  She is a consummate professional who embodies our mission to help others,” said Chris Purnell, executive director, Southwest Florida Chapter American Red Cross.  “We admire her enthusiasm, dedication and work ethic and are confident she will serve us well.”

Ms. Kison has been practicing law for more than a decade concentrating her practice in the area of commercial litigation involving business and real estate disputes.  She is resident of Sarasota where she lives with her husband and two children.
