Publix to Anchor The Shoppes at Palmer Ranch

WMG Development LLC, a national real estate investment and development company, is pleased to announce a new retail shopping center is planned for the Palmer Ranch community in Sarasota, Florida, with a Publix Supermarkets as the anchor tenant. The Shoppes at Palmer Ranch, located at the northeast corner of Honore Avenue and Central Sarasota Parkway, is projected to open late September 2022. When completed, The Shoppes at Palmer Ranch will encompass 65,848 square feet of grocery, retail, medical and restaurants and will have two additional outparcels for lease.

The new Publix will occupy approximately 48,000 square feet of the development. Publix will be joined by Heartland Dental, the largest dental support organization in the country.

Palmer Ranch, located in central Sarasota County, is a well-established master planned community containing 7,000 acres and is home to over 20,000 residents.

The project’s site plan is under review with Sarasota County. It is anticipated that construction will begin on site in the fall of 2021, pending necessary County approvals.
