Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay’s President and CEO of nearly 18 years, Harry E. Hobson, is retiring from a near 40-year career in healthcare administration and executive leadership.
Hobson has led Plymouth Harbor, its residents, team members and family members to several notable and award-winning accomplishments over his long tenure. He has also been an active member of the Sarasota community, with the goal that all residents in retirement communities are to be safe and well-cared for.
Plymouth Harbor, one of the premiere Life Plan Communities in the region, houses nearly 300 residents in all levels of care including independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. Hobson has agreed to stay with Plymouth Harbor until his successor, Jeff Weatherhead, has made a successful transition.
