New Director of Restaurants, Beach Club Operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota is proud to announce the appointment of Huseyin Ozdemir as Director of Restaurants, Beach Club Operations. With a tenure of over 15 years with The Ritz-Carlton brand, Ozdemir brings a wealth of knowledge in luxury hotel operations and restaurant management to his new role.


“We are thrilled to have Huseyin join our team at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota,” said Rajesh Khubchandani, the property’s General Manager. “His extensive experience in managing high-end restaurants and beach clubs will be invaluable to our property as we continue to deliver exceptional service and experiences to our guests.”


As Director of Restaurants, Beach Club Operations, Ozdemir will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club and its various food and beverage outlets, including signature beachfront restaurant, Ridley’s Porch. Registered resort guests and Members have use of the exclusive Beach Club located just three miles from the resort on the beaches of Lido Key, offering guests a private Gulf of Mexico beach, a heated swimming pool and soaking tub, a full array of distinctive Sarasota beach activities and more. A Sarasota landmark, the rustic, open-air Lido Key Tiki Bar is located directly on the beach behind The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club, providing guests with an array of refreshing, tropical libations at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico.

Ozdemir began his career with The Ritz-Carlton in 2007 as a server at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne. After working at such prestigious establishments as the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club in Massachusetts, the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami and Prime Catch Seafood & Grill in New York, Ozdemir returned to The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne in 2016 as the resort’s Food & Beverage Supervisor. 
Most recently, Ozdemir served as Banquet Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Orlando, where he successfully managed a team of 75 Ladies and Gentlemen. Through his leadership in this role, Ozdemir exceeded 2022 financial metric goals and achieved 82% employee satisfaction and 100% success with events and staff service.
