KATIA, Award Winning Sarasota Circus Film, Lights Up Center Ring on Amazon Prime

Katia, a magical realism drama, tells the story of three women, performers in a small traveling circus, who reveal their darkest secrets as they plot revenge against the man who harmed one of their own.  

Katia has won multiple film festival awards, including: Best Leading Actress: Carolyn Michel, Oniros Film Awards, Italy – Best Cinematography: Joey Durango, New Vision Film Awards, Amsterdam and Worldfest Houston International Film Festival Platinum Award for Directing: Naida Joanides.  

Filmed entirely in Sarasota and despite Hurricane Irma, Katia, a 24 minute film, premiered at the 2018 Sarasota Film Festival and now lights up the center ring on Amazon Prime.
