JoshProvides Pulls Back the Curtain on Epilepsy

November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month and JoshProvides Epilepsy Assistance Foundation held a Virtual Event featuring an exclusive red-carpet premiere of the video, Mowgli, the seizure response dog from the upcoming docu-series Animal Magic…or Medicine. Animal Magic Films filmmaker, Diane Rose Solomon participated in a Q/A session as part of the event.  The event chair was Traci Smullen and co-founder Sandi Chapnick and board chair Ed Scharf participated as speakers. 

With sixty-eight households tuning in to watch the livestream broadcast from the Ballroom at Michael’s On East, a total of $72,285 was raised from 124 supporters during the Mission Moment Paddle Raise conducted by CEO Andria Bilan. 

JoshProvides sponsors an Epilepsy Support Group and awards direct client assistance to secure seizure alert and detection devices, transportation assistance for those prohibited from driving until they are six-months seizure free, assistance with medical services and seizure response training for service dogs.  To learn more about epilepsy, visit www.JoshProvides.org
