The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) has appointed Edward Griese to its Board of Directors.

“We are excited to share with the community that Ed Griese has joined our Board of Directors” says Doug Staley, Executive Director of the Child Protection Center. “With our continued expansion further into North Port and South Sarasota County, Ed’s experience in strategic planning is invaluable to the clients we serve at CPC. Ed’s expertise will afford long term stability and service continuity that is critical to our community’s growing needs.” says Staley.

Griese’s dedication to his passions can be seen in his years of work and voluntarism in his community. He served on the board of directors for multiple organizations including United Way of Brevard, Best Doctors, America’s Health Insurance Plans, Madrid League Baseball, and Our Kids among others. “I have always had a passion for helping children whether as a mentor, parent, coach, or friend.” says Griese. “I’m looking forward to assisting the wonderful team at CPC to meet and exceed expectations of our mission.”

The Child Protection Center’s mission is the Prevention, Intervention, & Treatment of Child Abuse, as the organization envisions a community where children are safe from abuse and free to thrive.
