All Faiths Food Bank Receives $140,500

All Faiths Food Bank recently received grants and support from the following foundations and organizations: $43,000 from Mosaic in support of the Backpack Program $65,000 from Mosaic in support of Mobile Pantries and Backpack Program in DeSoto County $25,000 from the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation in support of hunger relief programs and COVID recovery assistance $7,500 from Wells Fargo in support of the DeSoto Food and Resource Center 

WHAT: In support of the Backpack program which provides children and students with nutritious snacks, programs that provide nutritious food and education to those experiencing hunger in our community, COVID recovery assistance, and the DeSoto Food and Resource Center where people can receive assistance and emergency food.
