Mary Bensel, Executive Director of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, is happy to introduce Emily Kinzer, the new Supervisor of Public Relations to the Van Wezel’s marketing team.

Emily Kinzer joins the Van Wezel following an almost decade long career in TV News. You may recognize Emily from her previous work at ABC 7 where she was a morning anchor and reporter for more than two years.
A Middle Tennessee State University graduate, Emily’s TV career has taken her from South Bend, Indiana to Indianapolis and then Sarasota where she happily traded in snow boots for year-round flip flops.
At the Van Wezel, Emily will lead the team’s public relations efforts, creating campaigns that communicate the mission of the Van Wezel. She will also work closely with press agents, PR Managers, and journalists to create stories, promotional materials, and marketing assets that will engage audiences and increase exposure for the Van Wezel.
When she is not working, Emily enjoys boating, fishing, scuba diving, and being on the water as much as possible.
