Trepp Development Annouces The Sota Hotel & Residences, Downtown Sarasota

Internationally known Trepp Developments LLC President Rodrigo Trepp has announced his expansion from South America to Florida’s West Coast. He has assembled a local team of real estate experts with plans to develop a variety of luxury residential and commercial developments throughout Sarasota and Tampa Bay.

“My vision for our new Sarasota headquarters begins with the creation of the SOTA Hotel & Residences, which will be our first Trepp Developments project,” he commented. “We assembled what I call a best-of-the best “A” team to design and market a sophisticated mixed-use project to include a boutique hotel and luxury residences located in the heart of downtown.”

Located at 1703 Main Street, SOTA will include a 16-story tower with Hoyt Architects named as the building designer and Architect of Record. The interiors are designed by New York City-based and award-winning Andre Kikoski Architect.  “Embracing Sarasota’s casual sense of refinement, we created gracious residence floor plans while appointing the spaces with a clean palette of soft neutral tones to offer a distinctly elevated approach to downtown living,” he explained.

SOTA includes 35 spacious residences and 120 hotel rooms as a Tapestry Collection by Hilton and managed by Commonwealth Hotels.  Residents and visitors will find a 4,500 square foot restaurant offering a unique culinary concept. Owners will enjoy cutting-edge design with the convenience of hotel services at your doorstep.

Trepp also announced he has named Michael Saunders & Company, known as the premiere luxury real estate firm on Florida’s West Coast, to sell the two-and-three-bedroom residential condominiums starting at approximately $1.8 million. The sales gallery will be located at 1734 Main Street and set to open on March 1, 2023.  A temporary sales office is located at 1605 Main Street.

 THE SOTA HOTEL & RESIDENCES

SOTA will sit at the corner of Goodrich and Main Street at the eastern gateway to downtown Sarasota. The building will stand above a four-level, 144-space parking structure that will offer valet parking for hotel guests and dedicated parking spaces for the residential units. 

Separate hotel and residential lobbies will be located on the ground level with hotel and reception amenities on the fifth level floor. There will be six floors of condominium residences starting on the eleventh floor. 

Amenities will include a restaurant and lounge that will be the centerpiece of the fifth floor, a pool and expansive pool deck with exterior dining. A fitness center and a private residential massage room and meeting space. A private residential club room with catering kitchen and an outdoor terrace will be located on the 16^th floor for spectacular sunset and water views.

Rodrigo Trepp is internationally respected for creating an extensive portfolio of luxury real estate projects in South America. He initially expanded his Trepp Developments company out of Bolivia to the USA in 2018 as he explored real estate opportunities in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
