The law firm of Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen, and Ginsburg, P.A., is pleased to announce that Attorney Todd D. Kaplan has been named a shareholder of the firm.
Kaplan, who joined the firm in 2006, has a diverse practice serving clients in the areas of tax, estate planning, and corporate law. He represents individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning, wealth transfer and business succession. He regularly provides counsel on a wide range of income, estate and gift tax matters including sophisticated charitable planning, private foundations, life insurance planning and multigenerational planning. Kaplan’s extensive corporate and business experience covers the representation of entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies, and non-profit organizations in all phases of the business life cycle including entity selection, formation, governance, operations, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions.
Todd began practicing law in New York, where he is admitted to practice, in addition to Connecticut and Florida. He earned a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Florida College of Law and his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Kaplan has received the highest Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating.
