The Venice Symphony Announces 2025-26 Season

The Venice Symphony is excited to announce its 2025-26 season, set to begin in October. The new season promises a rich lineup of world-class performances, new offerings, and immersive concert experiences, designed to delight both new and longtime audiences.
“I am so excited because we have such a versatile orchestra and unique programming to showcase how talented of an orchestra we have right here in Venice!”, says Troy Quinn, now in his seventh season as Music Director.
Christine Kasten, CEO of The Venice Symphony, shares, “This season brings more of what you love—from timeless classics to thrilling new experiences. We’re celebrating the music we cherish while introducing exciting additions that elevate the concert experience for everyone.”
Season Highlights:
Symphonic Spooktacular (October): The season opens with a spooky celebration of Fall, featuring eerie strings from Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic theme and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain.
Classical Rockstars (November): The Venice Symphony celebrates the masterpieces of Beethoven, Mozart, and Haydn. Special guest cellist Robert DeMaine will perform the Cello Concerto in C Major.
Sounds of the Season (December): This beloved holiday concert features guest vocalist Christal Rheams and the Key Chorale for a festive celebration at the Venice Performing Arts Center.
TV Classics! & Lights, Camera, Music! (January & February): A celebration of iconic television and film scores, with renowned Hollywood violinist Roger Wilkie bringing these unforgettable melodies to life.
Viva Venice! (February): Join us for a musical journey through Latin America, featuring Grammy-winning guitarist Sharon Isbin.
Fountains, Tides & Tempests (March): This concert offers an unforgettable voyage with works like Respighi’s Fountains of Rome and other beautiful pieces inspired by water and nature.
Ode to America (Season Finale): To conclude the season, celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with national favorites by John Williams and Leonard Bernstein, offering a lively and inspiring finale.
New and Exciting Offerings for 2025-26:
● The Venice Symphony Big Band: The newly rebranded Venice Symphony Jazz Orchestra will perform three electrifying concerts, bringing jazz and swing to the Venice Performing Arts Center.
● Soundscapes Chamber Series: A new chamber series at the Venice Community Center offers an intimate experience with the Symphony’s musicians, providing a close-up view of their artistry in four concerts.
