The Sarasota Players are excited to welcome the community into their theatre for a volunteer recruitment day. On April 9, their doors will open to all those interested in getting involved with their organization. Attendees can learn more about volunteering for community theatre and how they can participate.
There will be two sessions, one at 10:30 am and one at 5:30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend and dive into the dynamic world of the performing arts. Refreshments will be served while guests mingle with fellow volunteers and get acquainted with The Sarasota Players, a nearly 100-year-old arts organization. For their time, attendees will go home with a free ticket voucher.

Volunteers are needed in all aspects of theatre, not just on the stage. This doesn’t always require a large time commitment. Whether you can spare an hour a week or a few days a month, The Sarasota Players has a variety of opportunities to choose from in whatever capacity works for you. From laundry of costumes and putting away props to sewing and set building, plenty of hands are always needed.
