Share in the delight of the holidays and the joy of dance with this year’s Nutcracker Festival, hosted by The Sarasota Ballet School!
The Sarasota Ballet School’s Nutcracker Festival is a celebration of holiday splendor centered around the beauty of ballet and the generational tradition of The Nutcracker. Students from The Sarasota Ballet School will join in the festivities through a series of performances, including excerpts from The Nutcracker, over the course of the day. It’s also the perfect opportunity to catch up on some holiday shopping – The Green Bazaar will host an outdoor shopping market, featuring local vendors.
This year’s Nutcracker Festival will take place on Saturday, December 11th, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Rosemary Square near downtown Sarasota. Performances by The Sarasota Ballet School will take place every twenty minutes from 9:00 AM onwards.
For families wanting to take in the spirit of the season in the open air, the Nutcracker Festival is the perfect way to spend a Saturday!
