The Players Centre Presents One-Man Christmas Carol at the Bazaar

By  |

December 4, 2020 – Sarasota

From Dec. 10 through 20, get in the holiday spirit with The Players Centre for Performing Arts as we present the winter classic A Christmas Carol, a one-man play adapted by Greg Oliver Bodine. One of the most beloved novellas by Charles Dickens comes to life at The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime (821 Apricot Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237.)

Charles Dickens’ 1867 American Reading Tour is off to a rough start. Due to an inexplicable loss of his luggage, he regretfully announces that he will be unable to read from his beloved classic, A Christmas Carol. All is not lost; however, Dickens delivers what he promised by performing from memory the magical story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from miserliness to redemption with warmth and humor. This one-man play is based on the condensed version Dickens himself used on his historic reading tours of the United States.

This show is family-friendly and good for audiences of all ages. Enjoy Hamlet’s Eatery up to 30 minutes before show time! Seating will be provided.
