From June 12 through 23, catch the opening show of The Players Centre for Performing Arts 2019 Summer Sizzler Series! Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Love, Loss, and What I Wore by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman, has become an international hit. The show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to, creating one of the most enduring theater-going experiences.
Story: A play of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects—mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black. Based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman.
Directed by Carole Kleinberg, assistant to the director Sandra Musicante, stage management by Diane Cepeda, costumes by Tim Beltley, lighting design by Ethan Vail and set design by Jeff Weber, this fan-favorite will make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings.
