The Paradise Center, Longboat Key’s only year-round, non-profit community activity center offers its visitors and members fitness classes, workshops, seminars, social gatherings, outings and more (no golf cart racing). To keep their mission momentum going, they are hosting their 7th highly-anticipated, foolishly-themed fundraiser on April Fool’s Day. No kidding!
Weather permitting, this festive and fun event will be held outdoors at The Paradise Center, on and around their wrap-around porch. It promises lots of laughs, plus: dancing with musical entertainment by Dan Fugazzotto, delicious appetizers by Harry’s Continental Kitchen, a cash bar with a signature “Fool’s Gold” cocktail, a live auction for a Spa Gift Bag from The Resort at Longboat Key Club, plus a special mystery item…and a Grand Prize Giveaway of a Weekend in Paradise on LBK featuring accommodations provided by Casa del Mar Beach Resort, Breakfast at Turtle Coffee Bar, Lunch at Lazy Lobster, Dessert at Euphemia Haye, a Mani/Pedi and Haircut at Design 2000 Hair & Nail Salon and a Tennis Lesson at Longboat Key Tennis Center – an approximate value of $1200!
The Paradise Center’s April Fool’s Event is Friday, April 1, 4-7pm. There are two ticket levels: The Frugal Fool, $75 which includes 1 drink ticket and The Fabulous Fool, $100 which includes 2 drink tickets and one entry into the Grand Prize Giveaway. Purchase tickets online at www.TheParadiseCenter.org (or avoid the credit card service fee and pay with a check or cash at The Paradise Center.) Advance ticket purchase by March 25 is requested.
