Suncoast Boat Show Partners with Mote Marine to Raise Funds

Donations to Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium can be made with ticket purchases for the Suncoast Boat Show, taking place at Marina Jack, April 21-23. Established in 1955 by Dr. Eugenie Clark, Mote Marine Laboratory is a nonprofit organization working to protect and conserve marine resources. With over 40 PhD scientists and 27 diverse research programs, Mote is conducting bold research in oceans surrounding six of the world’s continents. Funds raised help Mote rehabilitate sick marine animals, answer questions about the health of our marine environment and teach the public more about our oceans. Tickets for this year’s Suncoast Boat Show must be purchased in advance via the website https://www.suncoastboatshow.com/en/home.html Tickets are $18 and children ages 15 and under are free. Veterans and active-duty military show proof of military service for a free ticket. The show runs Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Marina Jack, #2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota, Florida. Boat show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, local Captain Don Dingman presents a youth fishing clinic entitled Hook the Future  and gives each participant a free rod and reel. The program not only teaches kids how to fish, but parents also learn how important it is to spend quality time with their children.
