September 9 – Sarasota

The Summer Concert Series presented by the St. Armands Circle Business Improvement District and the City of Sarasota is set to have its grand finale on Saturday, September 17th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The big band Sarasota Jazz Project will perform in this third installment of the jazz-centric theme in Circle Park.

Sarasota Jazz Project is a 17-piece jazz ensemble comprised of some of the finest musicians in Southwest Florida. The big band features a full horn section and conductor who will bring all the swing of the 1930s to Circle Park. Celebrating all the standards from Duke Ellington Orchestra and Buddy Rich Big Band to Dizzie Gillespie and Buddy Herman and the Herd, this final concert of the Summer Series will have audiences snapping their fingers and tapping their toes.

Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and/or blankets and find a spot in the shade under the 2000+ square foot event tent. Cold beverages are available throughout the Circle for guests to purchase during this rain or shine event.

Approximately 1600 parking spots are available in and around the Circle, with convenient parking available in the St. Armands Circle Parking Garage, on-street, or in the Fillmore Parking Lot.
