SPARCC is pleased to announce the appointment of Sherry Gluchov to its development team. Her role as the new development coordinator is to help with research, grant writing, donor relations and work with SPARCC’s Auxiliary.
Gluchov comes to SPARCC from JFCS of the Suncoast where she served as the agency’s donor relations and stewardship coordinator. Her tenure at JFCS was split by a three-year hiatus during which time she served as stewardship coordinator at the New College of Florida Foundation and completed a degree in Nonprofit Management at Eckerd College, where she graduated with highest honors. While at JFCS, Gluchov was awarded the Employee of the Year in 2014 and received several Star Awards from the agency.
Sherry and her family moved from Beachwood, Ohio to Sarasota over twenty years ago and she has worked with fundraising, higher education, religious and human service agencies since she arrived. In addition, Gluchov volunteers with several nonprofit agencies in Sarasota. She collects French Art Nouveau posters and loves to travel. Sherry enjoys baking, and has been to France several times taking courses in bread and pastry baking.
