September 24 is National Voter Registration Day 2019

On September 24, 2019, Americans will celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a massive 50-state effort to register voters before Election Day this November. To support this effort, the League of Women Voters of Sarasota County will register voters at five Venice and Sarasota locations:

With local elections just a few weeks away, the League actively encourages all eligible American voters to exercise their rights to be heard at the ballot box this year and every year. National Voter Registration Day is the right place to start by getting registered.

Founded in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is designed to create an annual moment when the entire nation focuses on registering Americans to exercise their most basic right – the right to vote.
