Marie Selby Botanical Gardens will host Halloween Costume Day, Saturday, October 31, 2020, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at both its Downtown Sarasota and Historic Spanish Point campuses. While supplies last, children dressed in costume, ages 12 and under will receive a goodie bag filled with safely wrapped Halloween-themed treats.

“While we are sorry that we cannot host the traditional Spooktacular event this year due to COVID-19,” says Jennifer O. Rominiecki, “We are excited to invite children, their families, and friends to celebrate Halloween in costume in a safe and fun outdoor environment.”

Guests are invited to enjoy the grounds and gardens in costume and use the Garden Discovery Guide, which includes self-guided, engaging activities.

Admission to the Downtown Sarasota campus is $20 for adults; children ages 5 to 17 are $10; and children four and under are FREE. Admission to the Historic Spanish Point campus is $15 for adults; children ages 5 to 17 are $10; and children four and under are FREE.
