Selby Foundation Announces Staff and Board News

The William G. and Marie Selby Foundation announced additions to its staff and Board of Directors and the election of Board Officers for 2022-23.
Kiarra Womack joins Selby Foundation as Scholarships & Special Projects Manager. Previously, Womack served as Director of College Success with Sunrise Scholars Foundation. She is a 2021 graduate of Washington University, St. Louis, holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In her role at Selby, she will serve as the primary point of contact for all scholarship applicants and recipients and represent the Selby Foundation in education-focused, community settings, among other responsibilities.
Molly Swift, the Foundation’s Scholarships Manager since 2018, moves into the position of Grants Manager, serving as the primary point of contact for Foundation grant applicants and recipients.
Susan Hines, Managing Principal at Sabal Trust Company, recently joined the Selby Foundation Board. She brings to the Foundation her experience as a licensed Florida attorney and as a trust and investment officer. She also serves as an executive board member of the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Counsel and as a long-term board member of the Boys and
Girls Clubs of Sarasota County and the Sarasota County Bar Association.
At the Foundation’s April 14th Board meeting, the following Board Officers were elected and will officially assume their roles on June 1:
● Barbara Zdravecky – Chair, taking over from current Chair Cathy Layton who remains
on the Board
● E. Keith DuBos – Vice Chair
● Carolyn Johnson – Secretary and Treasurer
