SCF Flex Start Classes Give Students Time to Speed Up or Catch Up

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is registering students for Spring and Summer Flex Start credit classes, allowing students to take an accelerated course that fits their schedule in order to get ahead or catch up in their pursuit of a degree.

Subjects include computer sciences, creative writing, business, literature, math and psychology.

Flex Start classes for Spring 2020 include a 12-week session beginning Feb. 3, an eight-week session beginning Feb. 10, and two five-week sessions starting March 9 and March 24.

SCF offers programs leading to Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees, certificates and select workforce bachelor’s degrees. Day and evening classes are held at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, and SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E., and select courses also are available online.

 

Online courses cover the same material as on-campus equivalents. All SCF support services are available to online students, including microcomputer labs, tutorial centers and the SCF Libraries.
