Sarasota Chamber’s Opportunities For All Opening Applications for the Third Year of the Business Assistance Funds Program

The Opportunities For All (OFA) initiative, led by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce the commencement of applications for minority small-business owners on July 15th, 2023. The Business Assistance Funds Program aims to provide crucial support to minority small business owners and non-profit organizations, empowering them with the necessary resources to foster growth and prosperity within our local business community. In the previous year, the program successfully granted $100,000 in funds to 45 deserving minority businesses.

Applicants must be registered with the state and actively engaged in providing services and programs that benefit local residents. Interested parties are invited to submit their applications online, accessible from July 15th to September 18th. Start-ups and those in business for fewer than 3 years may qualify for up to $5,000; Businesses open for 3 years or more may qualify for up to $10,000.

The Opportunities For All program has been made possible through generous funding from the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, as part of their commitment to empowering the community.
