Naked Farmer Opens at UTC

Naked Farmer is proud to announce the opening of its seventh restaurant location at 215 N Cattlemen Road in University Town Center (UTC) on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 bringing locally-sourced, farm-fresh food to the active and lively culture.

Originally established in St. Petersburg, and opening its sixth location in Downtown Miami earlier this year, Naked Farmer is thrilled to now expand its reach into Sarasota’s own premier destination, University Town Center.

“UTC has become a hub for health and wellness, with its variety of fitness studios, free weekly outdoor workout classes and proximity to Nathan Benderson Park, so it was a natural choice for us to grow into this area and serve the health-conscious community,” Naked Farmer Founder, Jordan Johnson shared. “The vision set forth by the Benderson family is very inspirational to us. We’re grateful to be a small part of it as we continue our mission to build a better food system in the area’s premier lifestyle center. Naked Farmer’s storefront is nestled in the West District at UTC, directly next to Blaze Pizza and near Rocco’s Tacos.

Naked Farmer’s mission is to become 100% local in the sourcing of their food. The company stands at the intersection of community and economy. The company built a direct-to-farm supply chain with farms in Florida and the greater Southeast region. The menu features high quality farm-fresh food cooked from scratch daily, priced to feed a neighborhood. Naked Farmer has become known for their vegetable-forward menu featuring seasonal ingredients harvested as little as 24 hours ahead of being served. Meals start at $11.

At Naked Farmer, guests will find the freshest, most seasonal and locally-sourced food in town, crafted by chefs who know their farmers on a first name basis. The menu is grown in direct conversation with small and medium-sized farmers nearby, brought in from the fields, and cooked with care. Some of the Summer Menu items, which are currently available, include Street Cart Corn, Chili-Crunch Green Beans, and Farmer’s Panzanella– each grown from farms nearby.
