Meals On Wheels of Sarasota is proud to announce the members of its 2022 board of directors. The new board will help ensure the organization continues to provide nutritious meals and services to individuals in the community who are homebound and unable to provide meals for themselves.

Tom Flanagan, a retired construction executive, has been named secretary and Jan H. Voigts of Voigts Advisory, LLC will serve as treasurer.
The 2022 directors are: Ralph Hall, retired attorney and educator, Jim Hastings, restauranteur and commercial real estate investor, Dwight D. Henry, pharmaceutical executive, John Hermansen, construction and hotel management executive, Mark Baldwin, CEO, Sunways Senior Living Concierge, Diane Weaver, retired insurance executive and Jill Raleigh, media, marketing, and sales executive.
“We are grateful to have a board of dedicated members of our community, eager to give back and advocate for those whose plight is often overlooked,” said Meals On Wheels of Sarasota Executive Director Marjorie Broughton. “Our board brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and an understanding of the critical need for healthy, prepared meals delivered directly to residents who may otherwise go without.”
Meals On Wheels of Sarasota clients, who range in age from 3 to 106, receive meals because they are unable to prepare meals or go to a food pantry or grocery store. Hundreds of volunteers help prepare, pack, and deliver 800 heart-healthy meals daily throughout the year.
