Mauldin & Jenkins Partner Accepted Into Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 38

Mauldin & Jenkins announced that Brian Carter, Partner, has been selected from the Calusa Region to the 2019-2020 Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 38.  
“I am honored to have been chosen as a member of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 38 and look forward to the program and forming relationships with my classmates,” Brian said. “The information we will learn and the relationships we will form will help make all of us become better professionals and leaders in our communities.” 
Hanson Borders, Managing Partner of Mauldin & Jenkins, believes Brian is a leading participant committed to local and state community. “We feel proud that Leadership Florida has accepted Brian into this year’s class. We are excited for him and know he will utilize his leadership abilities to benefit the state of Florida.”
Brian received his BBA in Accounting from Mercer University in 1996 and is licensed as a CPA in Georgia and Florida. Since joining Mauldin & Jenkins, Brian has specialized in providing a variety of accounting, auditing and tax services to not-for-profit organizations, affordable housing developers, restaurants, construction contractors and manufacturing and distribution entities. Brian also consults with not-forprofit board of directors on governance and policy issues and is a frequent speaker to various trade and civic organizations on topics affecting the not-for-profit industry.
Currently, Brian is a board member for PACE Center for Girls – Manatee, Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, and the Manatee Chamber of Commerce. Brian currently resides in Bradenton, Florida.
