he Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Office wants to help community members get their passports!
The Clerk’s Office understands people are busy during the work week. In an effort to help those who can’t make it by the office during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, the Clerk’s Office will be opening its doors during the weekend this month, for a special passport event. This will take place on Saturday, November 21st, from 8:00 am – 12:00pm, at the Manatee County Historic Courthouse, located at 1115 Manatee Ave. W. in Bradenton.
The special event is designed for customers who are unable to apply for passports because of work, school or other schedule conflicts. “We understand how busy people are and how difficult it can be for some to make it into our office during the week,” said Angel Colonneso, the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. “We hope this special passport event helps our customers get their passports more easily.” All customers who are unable to apply during regular business hours, are encouraged to take advantage of these special Saturday hours. As an added convenience, the Clerk’s office is also taking passport photos on-site for a fee of $16.05.
