Local All-Female Non-Profit Accepting Grant Applications for 2021

Sisterhood For Good Inc. (SFG), is now accepting applications for its 2021 Annual Grants Program. To be eligible for the 2021 grant distribution cycle the deadline to apply is Friday, April 30th.
SFG accepts unsolicited proposals for grant consideration. However, the group does not provide grants to support capital campaigns, operational funding, event fundraisers or sponsorships, lobbying of any kind, or endowments. Those applying for grants are asked to submit a completed application form that summarizes their non-profit and illustrates how a grant from SFG will make an immediate, direct impact to a specific project or cause. Proof of 501(c)(3) status is also required and applications can be submitted online at www.SisterhoodForGood.org by the deadline.
Through its Annual Grants Program, Sisterhood For Good, a women-only, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) public charity, provides support to qualified local non-profits in the following arenas: women’s and children’s issues, animal welfare, Veteran’s causes, arts and education, health and homelessness, etc. Applicants must reside in Sarasota or Manatee County.
Established in May 2011 as a Women’s Giving Circle, the organization became a 501(c)(3) public in 2018. The Lakewood Ranch-based Corporation unites women who share common philanthropic goals; their sole purpose is to raise funds for the betterment of the community, through an Annual Grants Program, has awarded more than $87,000 in grants and scholarships to 61 qualified local non-profits since 2013.
