Laser Engrave a Pumpkin Pie at the Fab Lab

Gobble gobble! Join the Suncoast Science Center/Faulhaber Fab Lab for a fun, all-ages workshop to laser engrave a pumpkin pie! Staff and volunteers will be available to help attendees choose a graphic that will then be engraved onto a pie using the lab’s high-tech laser cutter and engraver. Your custom pie will be a showstopper on the Thanksgiving dessert table and a topic of conversation for years to come! Whether you choose to engrave your family name, a Thanksgiving greeting or even your favorite sports team, the choice is all yours. No experience is required, and all ages are welcome to learn and explore at the workshop! Oh, and don’t worry, we taste-tested the pies. They’re delicious!

Hour-long sessions are available from 3:00-5:00pm on Sunday, November 20, 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, November 21, and 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, November 22. The workshop is $35 per group. Up to three people may attend per registration. Each group receives one pie. The workshop will be held at the Fab Lab at 4452 Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL 34233. Guests should purchase multiple tickets if they would like to engrave more than one pie or bring more than three guests.
