The candidates were nominated by co-workers, family members and friends. The 2019 campaign will run from September 1 through November 1.

Chief Executive Officer of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Andy Guz, stated, “As my third year participating in the American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink campaign and throughout my career in healthcare, I have
witnessed the impact of raising funds for groundbreaking breast cancer research and initiatives to ensure access to mammograms for those in need. By raising money and awareness through Real Men Wear Pink, we are helping to save more lives from breast cancer.”

“In addition to wearing pink and raising awareness about breast cancer, these men will be raising funds to help the American Cancer Society attack cancer from every angle and save more lives from breast cancer,” said Bethany Lynch, Senior Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society. “Funds raised help support early detection and prevention, innovative breast cancer research and patient support.”
