Longboat Key Realtor® Kathy Callahan is the rare agent who lives and works on Longboat Key all-year-long. Having lived in many alluring places and selling real estate for 23 years, six years ago she and her husband decided hands-down to make Longboat Key their “forever home.”  

“I’m different than other real estate agents in Sarasota,” Kathy says. “A lot of people focus on ‘selling millions,’ but for me, it’s all about providing white-glove service and treating my customers like family.” For Kathy it is all about the connection and relationship.  

She doesn’t sell—she shares. 

“I provide my customers with a genuine taste of the Sarasota area boating and waterfront lifestyle. For example, I enjoy showing customers a property from the water, which provides a completely different perspective.  It’s almost impossible to describe the benefits of the lifestyle here in Longboat Key/Sarasota area, and it’s my pleasure to share the experience first-hand with them.” 

It’s not unusual for Kathy’s customers to feel like they are family, too. Kathy has been invited to customers’ family weddings, celebrations, and events such as the Sangria Cup tennis event in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Kathy simply invests 100 percent of herself to ensure her customers’ expectations are not just met, but routinely exceeded.

Kathy is deeply involved with the LBK Chamber and community. As a breast cancer survivor, she is passionate about promoting cancer prevention awareness with the Making Strides of Sarasota fundraising campaign.
