Junior League of Sarasota’s 44th Annual Tour of Homes Goes Virtual in 2021

The Junior League of Sarasota’s 44th annual “Simply Sarasota” Tour of Homes will be February 26 & 27, 2021, completely virtual for the first time in the event’s history. This virtual event will provide a look into some of the most sought-after homes in the area, ranging in styles from modern, traditional, historic and new construction.

Hosted by John McCarthy, Vice President of Historic Spanish Point at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, attendees can expect interactive demonstrations from various local talent including a professional home organizer, a local Sarasota chef, florist, and mixologist.

General admission tickets are $35 in advance through February 22 and then will increase to $40. Ticket purchasers can view the Tour at the time of their choosing and will be accessible on a smartTV, smartphone or PC.

A silent auction and chance drawing will be held in advance, virtually, as well as at the in-person at the Toast of the Tour Happy Hour. All ticket purchasers will have the chance to bid on silent auction packages via the Greater Giving online site here. Silent auction items include items from Kendra Scott, Charlotte’s Grace Fine Linens & Luxe Home Accents, Burn Boot Camp, Artisan Cheese Company, Row House and more.

VIP tickets ($45) will include the in-person Toast of the Tour Happy Hour located at Mattison’s Downtown on Saturday, February 27 at 3:30pm. Tickets include 1 free drink. Happy Hour spots are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

All event proceeds will benefit the Junior League of Sarasota’s charitable community initiatives, including its signature project of Aging out of Foster Care. The League strives to make a difference in the lives of others, and sets annual goals which directly benefit women, children and families in the community.
