September 16 – Sarasota
For the third consecutive year, JMX Brands, a multi-channel retailer with its headquarters and a showroom in Sarasota, was recognized as a Sarasota Herald Tribune’s Top Place to Work in the Sarasota-Manatee region. The parent company of the largest online retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters.com was named a top workplace in the small business category, based on the number of employees working in the Sarasota office.
JMX Brands CEO Jim Miller said the staff “remain engaged, learning, and growing. Our shared goal is to support the professional growth of the staff, and that drives the company’s growth as well. We foster a culture of gratitude and recognition where standout work is celebrated.”
JMX Brands currently employs 80 full-time employees, and showroom-initiated sales are expected to continue contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success. As additional stores open, showroom staff will be added.
“I am grateful that we continue to offer meaningful employment to a growing number of people, and I am even more gratified by the professional growth I see in so many JMX Brands staff,” said Miller. “JMX Brands remains a Top Place to Work because our employees make it happen.”
Every year, the Herald-Tribune honors top workplaces in the region, recognizing businesses and organizations that do things right. The Top Places to Work competition is based on a survey developed to identify motivating employers in the Sarasota-Manatee area who encourage a positive corporate culture in which employees excel, grow, and feel valued.
