Jane Windsor has devoted her career to helping students of all ages gain equal access to achieve educational success. Originally a teacher, Jane found her passion and natural ability was advocating for special learners. “I saw the needs of my students and realized I could help them gain access to tools that no one else could,” says Jane.  

Over the last 11 years, Jane has built Windsor Law, a mission-driven education law practice committed to protecting the rights of students, children, and families across Florida. Supported by an incredible team—Client and Referral Specialist, Amy Lanman, and Paralegal Jeanne Brittain, FRP—that share her passion, Jane offers unmatched service, including an initial advisory consultation, follow up after research, and network of referrals. She says, “Our goal is to help as many people as we can.”

Jane’s unending motivation and compassion largely comes from personal experience with dyslexia and ADHD. “I was a hardworking student but struggled to get good grades. The right diagnosis and accommodations were vital to my success,” says Jane. As a parent of a student with ADHD, she is also particularly passionate about helping K-12 learners. “Many times, kids give up, or their self-esteem takes a dive, but with the right program, I can help them become successful students and confident individuals.” 

Along with providing access to tutors, referrals to testing professionals, and legal counsel, Jane provides a safe and comforting space for her clients. No one on the team does that better than “Ruthie,” short for Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a lovable mutt with the full-time job of making clients comfortable. 

“Our team, including Ruthie, share the desire to help our clients feel confident and reach their full potential,” says Jane. “That will always be our motivation.”
