The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is excited to welcome the International Ballet of Florida’s production of Romeo and Juliet to Sarasota on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 5 p.m. Tickets are currently available for purchase.
Romeo and Juliet is one of the most beautiful yet tragic love stories of all time. Through young love, dramatic sword fights, and tragedy audiences will stay on the edge of their seats as they are swept away to the village of Verona. Set to the moving score by Sergei Prokofiev, this dramatic ballet by choreographer Vadim Fedotov will keep guests enthralled to the very end.
For over ten years, the International Ballet of Florida’s (IBF) reputation for original full-length ballets has garnered acclaim across the state. Alongside its students, IBF proudly welcomes principal guest artists from the National Ballet of Ukraine, Lithuania Ballet, Atlanta Ballet and more as they begin the 2023-2024 season.
