Gulf Coast Community Foundation Adds New Talent to its Board

Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s Board of Directors has elected William L. Mehserle Jr., CFP®, AIF®, as its newest Board member. Mehserle began a three-year term on the Gulf Coast Board on March 1.

Mehserle is Partner and Planner at FourThought Private Wealth, an independent registered investment advisor practice based in Venice with clients throughout the country. He has been named by Forbes as a Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor for the past two years. Mehserle earned his degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Shortly after graduating, he founded two technology and marketing businesses in Atlanta before transitioning to the financial services field. He is currently enrolled at Yale University to attain his Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation.

Mehserle also volunteers his leadership extensively in the community. He currently serves on the board of directors for Family Promise of South Sarasota County and on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s advisory board. He formerly held board leadership roles at Loveland Center, Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club, and Venice Area Young Professionals.
