All Faiths Food Bank announced The Benderson Family’s support of over $1million to fund the 35,000 square foot expansion of the food bank’s distribution center. A ribbon cutting ceremony and naming event will honor The Benderson Family on March 1.
“The growth and development All Faiths has experienced is a story of vision and extraordinary leadership,” said Sandra Frank, CEO of All Faiths Food Bank. “Thanks to The Benderson Family and others like them, All Faiths has become a leader in providing healthy solutions to end hunger in our community. Through their wisdom and foresight, we have a tremendous opportunity to fulfill our mission and end hunger.”
The newly-expanded campus along Blaikie Court will be named for The Benderson Family in honor of their generosity to the community. The expansion coincides with a new brand and identity rollout for increased visibility.
Additional building donors at the $100,000 level and above are Keith and Linda Monda, Robert and Lin Williams, Gerri Aaron and Marvin Albert, Publix Super Market Charities, Disney/General Mills, Donald and Alice Goldsmith, Jane’s Trust, and the William G. Selby & Marie Selby Foundation.
Open houses of the expanded distribution center will begin in mid-March and continue through the spring for the community. A detailed list of available dates and times can be found on the website.
