Event at Manatee Community Foundation to Share Success School Model

By  |

March 23, 2022 – Sarasota

Embracing the full spectrum of what students require for success, a model for schools is providing on-campus access to health, social, and basic needs services–in addition to academic support. This approach is creating new opportunities for under-resourced children and families to experience what they need to do well.

On April 8 at 8:30 a.m., Manatee Community Foundation will host a breakfast event and discussion about Manatee Elementary School, a Title 1 school in Manatee County. Learn how donors, partners, and the School District have combined forces to create gains for students and the neighborhood. Speakers Include: Manatee County School Superintendent Cynthia Saunders, Community Investors Conrad Szymanski and Steve Roskamp, and United Way Suncoast Community Impact Officer Emery Ivery. The event takes place at 2820 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton. To register, email Events@ManateeCF.org or call (941) 747-7765.
