November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month and JoshProvides Epilepsy Assistance Foundation kicked the month off with the 3rd Annual Chase Away Epilepsy Walk at GT Bray Park. Chaired by Meme Signor, the Chase Away Epilepsy Walk raised $19,570 to support client services to children and families diagnosed with seizures.
More than 150 walkers participated in this event held on November 5th.The mission of JoshProvides is to improve the lives of those living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.JoshProvides sponsors an Epilepsy Support Group that meets twice a month, provides seizure alert & detection devices, assistance with medical services, transportation to medical appointments and seizure response training of service dogs.
