Dr. Emily Arsenault is passionate about skin health.  Growing up in Miami’s intense sun with vitiligo, Dr. Emily had her first pre-cancerous mole removed at the age of 12.  Experiencing this at such a young age sparked Dr. Emily’s life-long passion to provide exemplary dermatologic care and an unparalleled patient experience.  

Naturally gifted, Dr. Emily was accepted to medical school before even graduating high school.  After completing this accelerated program at the University of Miami with top honors in research, she was accepted to the prestigious Boston University dermatology training program.  Working with world-class clinicians and researchers, Dr. Arsenault rose to become one of the best dermatologists in the country.

Working with her physician husband and best friend of 27 years (who is also an accelerated medical school prodigy), Dr. Emily selected the Sarasota/Manatee community to open her practice in 2003.  Eighteen years later, Arsenault Dermatology is one of the most respected dermatology centers in Florida.

“I grew with the community,” she explained. “I wanted the patient experience to remain high quality. That is important to me. I provide high quality care, respect my patient’s time, and facilitate the integration of new patients as they move into the area. Over the years we have created an incredibly efficient healthcare delivery system.  Some patients describe it as a well-oiled machine,” she laughs.  

Dr. Arsenault and her team of hand-picked providers have a reputation for discovering deadly cancers early.  “You can save lives when you find skin cancer early,” she said.  “Everyone on my team is experienced in looking for subtle signs.”  

“We treat over 200 melanomas a year,” she said. “We are saving lives and making an impact on the community.  We are so excited to be a part of the vibrant growth in both Manatee and Sarasota Counties.”
