November 23, 2021 – Sarasota
Creative Liberties Artist Studios presents its grand opening on December 4, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at 901-B Apricot Avenue, Sarasota. During this free event, the public can meet with the collective artists group’s nine resident artists. The event also features artisan vendors, music by D.J. Scott Kemp, Kona Ice delights, and free hot dogs and soft drinks (until they run out). Elizabeth Goodwill and Barbara Gerdeman, two area-based artists and art educators who launched Creative Liberties to empower regional artists, welcome everyone interested in art and handcrafted work to come meet the artists and enjoy the day. “This is an excellent opportunity to purchase locally created work for the holidays,” she says, adding that the event is family-friendly.
