COVID-19 Testing Continues at Sarasota Memorial Hospital

Sarasota Memorial Hospital continues to test and treat a number of people for respiratory  viruses circulating this time of year. The hospital also will continue submitting samples to state-run labs for anyone who tests negative for flu and other viruses and meets CDC criteria for COVID-19 testing. All state-run tests that have been returned to SMH to date are negative. They will be testing people on an ongoing basis, and will issue a testing update only if  a presumptive positive or positive case is received.
